Talent Show/Jeffrey's Artwork

Jeffrey at the Primary Talent Show.  He took his picture up on the stage and told everyone about it.

Jeffrey and Arabelle were both strangely excited about the Talent Show. They must have seen them featured in cartoons or something.  This Talent Show was impressive because the lights were dimmed, there was a cool stage constructed, and there were lots of gold star balloons everywhere for decoration.

Everyone was very impressed.

This is a "Bad Guy" that Jeffrey made a while back.

Jeffrey brought this "scary snowman" home from school today.

Jeffrey said this is a picture of "Babies World".  He did this about a year ago after Mom showed him how to make these simple babies in blankets. I helped with the rainbow.

Lately

We took the kids swimming at an indoor pool at a Rec Center in Denver.  It was really cool and had tubing slides, an indoor playland, and even a rock climbing wall.  We didn't get any pictures there, but here's a picture of Arabelle in her cute swimsuit and cover up.  It was actually super warm that day, even tho there is snow on the ground.

Brittney gave us a bunch of cute clothes and the kids wanted to look at them when he got home.  They started pulling them out and wanting to play dress up with the fun new clothes.  

Charlotte kept bringing us clothing and making us layer it on her.

She wanted this one on top of everything else.  With her arms pinned down she had no balance and kept falling down.  So funny!

 

I call this "Profile of Courage".  I think Arabelle took this picture.

Family Home Evening--we learned about our bodies and drew pictures of ourselves as part of the lesson.

Jeffrey took special care designing his t-shirt.

Jeffrey's wound up kind of weird looking because Arabelle scribbled on his face with a green crayon, so we had to give him green glasses.  Jeffrey picked all the other colors.

Trimming the bushes with scissors.  This has been one of Jeffrey's favorite pastimes for years, and I have encouraged it.

Charlotte has been enjoying playing in the dirt.

Easter 2013

On Good Friday, Jeffrey wore this Easter Suit to school and also to tour a new school.  Everyone that saw him loved it!

I tried to stage this shot, and Jeffrey was not happy about it.

I call these next two pictures "The forgotten baby."

As usual I did not get the shot I had hoped for because Charlotte was being really fussy and insisted on being in her stroller.

Arabelle was sad for a little while because she wanted Charlotte's basket instead of her own.

but soon she was happy again.

All the kids loved my weird bunny that pops out of an egg and sings.
